[ARCHIVED] Cedar Falls Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Forgery/Theft Suspects

 

Cedar Falls Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve two on-going investigations. 

A female reported the she lost her wallet in the area of the Cedar Falls Hy-Vee at 6301 University Avenue on the afternoon of October 7th.  She returned home and reported the lost credit card to her local bank.  She learned that the card had already been fraudulently used several times within the hour.  An unknown person(s) charged over $1,000.00 worth of clothing items at the Cedar Falls Von Maur and Victoria Secret.  The three attached photos (named College Square #1, #2, and #3) are store surveillance photos from the Von Maur store.  The two persons depicted in the photos are suspected of being involved in this credit card forgery.

The second investigation involves a stolen computer from Wal-Mart.  The Cedar Falls Wal-Mart reported that on October 20th a male removed a security device from a display computer and left the store after concealing the computer under his clothing.  The computer was valued at $190.00.  The male is seen leaving the parking lot in an unknown model white SUV.  The male suspected of committing this theft is in the attached store surveillance photo named (Wal-Mart #1.)  He appears to be a tall, slender white male in the surveillance photo.
