Join us at RAGBRAI® on July 22!
The Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau is proud to sponsor Cedar Falls RAGBRAI® events on July 22. We invite you to join us as we host 18,000 special guests for a great day of fun, food and music!
Riders will arrive mid morning and throughout the day, entering town on Union Road to 27th Street to Panther Parkway. Come welcome the riders and show them your warm smile and great Cedar Valley hospitality!
Entertainment will begin at 12:30pm at the afternoon stage located south of the McLeod Center. Karla Ruth, an acoustic folk/pop artist will perform with a touch of blues. Her lyrics have been quoted on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, and her music has been used by TV stations in Iowa, Tennessee, Louisiana, and MIssouri. Joe and Vicki Price will take the stage at 1:45pm. The duo has been playing together for over 30 years. Joe is a member of the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame and The Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The couple has released two CD's. The final performance on the afternoon stage is Dylan Sires & Neighbors and the show begins at 3:15pm. All afternoon performances are free and open to all ages!
At 5pm we'll shift over to the evening entertainment in the area west of the Uni-Dome. The line-up includes Bob Door and the Blue Band, the Devon Worley Band, and The New Black 7. Get your 80's hair ready for the headliner, HAIRBALL! These concerts are free for all registered RAGBRAI® riders and those wearing the 2015 Cedar Falls RAGBRAI® t-shirt. Shirts are available at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center, University Book and Supply, Hawkeye Community College Bookstore, SCHEELS, Scratch Cupcakery, Bike Tech, Europa Cycle & Ski, and Vintage Iron.
