state fill the brochure racks and Iowa goods, UNI-branded items and samples from other area gift shops are available for purchase.  The conference room hosts dozens of meetings and events each year ranging from birthday parties and graduations to staff retreats and weddings.

The Visitor Center’s 10th Anniversary will be observed with an Open House Celebration on Sunday, February 1, from noon to 4pm.  Refreshments will be served, children’s activities will be offered and Blue Zones Project Volunteers will lead trail walks around the lake from 2pm to 4pm.  Snow shoes will be provided by The Runner’s Flat if there’s snow.
