The Cedar Valley Stormwater Education Partnership is sponsoring an event in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act. The event will take place Thursday, October 18th, with a social hour and activities from 5:30PM to 6:30PM, and speakers and discussion from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. This event is for children as well as adults.
The Conservation Station and other kid-friendly activities will be on-site to illustrate the importance and outcomes of the Clean Water Act throughout the evening. State Senator Rob Hogg, Mary Beth Stevenson from the IDNR, as well as other presenters will be there to discuss the history, current impacts and future of the Act. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
