[ARCHIVED] Cool in the Pool

Due to the current heat wave our pool staff at the Falls Aquatic Center is doing everything possible to keep the water temperature in the low 80’s so the water remains refreshing for patrons to use. Any adult or child entering the Facility after 5:30 PM on Thursday July 5 or Friday July 6 will be allowed admission to the Falls in exchange for a 20 pound bag of ice or larger. The ice will be collected and dumped into one of the pools by the staff. Patrons with season passes or those wanting to pay the daily rate of $5.00 for youth, 3-17 years old or $6.00 for adults 18 or older will still be allowed to swim as well.

For more information, contact the Cedar Falls Rec Center @ 273-8636, or the Falls Aquatic Center, located on the corner of South Main and Jennings Drive in Cedar Falls @ 266-8468.
