The College Hill Urban Revitalization Plan will allow property owners to apply for a 5-year tax exemption on eligible improvements to residential use properties. Eligible properties will include single family dwellings, duplexes, condominiums, multi-family dwellings and commercial properties that contain three or more residential units comprising at least 75% of the building’s square footage. All property owners and occupants of the designated area must be notified by mail at least 30 days in advance of the public hearing and a notice of the public hearing must also be published in a local newspaper. The public will have an opportunity to view the plan and provide input for the City Council to consider on June 25, 2012.
