Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2011 are holidays for Cedar Falls City employees. There will be no garbage collection on these days. Residents having Thursday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Residents having Friday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
There will be no large item pickup during this week because of the holidays. Large item pickup will resume on Monday, November 28, 2011.
As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup on Mondays beginning December through March 2012, will be on a call-in basis. Please call 319-273-8629 to make arrangements for yard waste collection.
