Friday, December 31, 2010 will be a holiday for Cedar Falls City employees. There will be no garbage collection on this day. Residents having Friday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010.
The Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, January 1, 2011.
There will be no large item pickup on Thursday or Friday because of the holiday. Large item pickup will resume on Monday, January 3, 2011.
As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup on Mondays beginning December through March 2011, will be on a call-in basis. Please call 319-273-8629 to make arrangements for yard waste collection.
