Thursday, November 25,2010 and Friday, November 26, 2010 are holidays for Cedar Falls City employees. There will be no garbage collection on these days. Residents having Thursday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Residents having Friday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010.
The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, November 27, 2010.
There will be no large item pickup during this week because of the holidays. Large item pickup will resume on Monday, November 29, 2010.
As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup will be coming to an end. Yard waste cart collection will be on a call in basis, beginning December through March 2011. Please call 319-273-8629 to make arrangements for yard waste collection.
