In 2009 the City commissioned the UNI Center for Social and Behavioral Research to conduct a citizen satisfaction survey and compare the findings with the results of the survey conducted in 2004. Satisfaction increased, particularly with the much improved switmming facilities at The Falls aquatic center. Improvements in the College Hill district and recycling options resulted in an increase in satisfaction with Economic Development and Public Works ratings.
