Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2009 are holidays for Cedar Falls City employees. There will be no garbage collection on these days. Residents having Thursday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Residents having Friday as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, November 28, 2009.
There will be no large item pickup during this week because of the holidays. Large item pickup will resume on Monday, November 30, 2009.
As a reminder to residents, yard waste pickup on Mondays beginning December 7 through the end of March 2010 will be on a call-in basis. Call 273-8629 to make arrangements for pickup.
