The Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau is announcing the kick-off for the “What Makes Cedar Falls Great?” photo contest. The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers. Images from the contest will be used to enhance the bureau’s photo collection. While photos may be submitted to the bureau September 28, 2009 through April 15, 2010, the photos are not required to have been taken during this time. Check out photos you’ve taken in months, or even years past, and consider entering them in the photo contest.
Selected photos from the contest will be on display at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center, as well as at the 5th Annual Cedar Valley Tourism & Awards Luncheon in May. In addition to the photos being on display, photos may be used in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo Visitors Guide, web site, and many other bureau publications. Photo ideas include, but are not limed to: Trails, Events, and Attractions. For complete contest details visit the Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau web site.
Each photographer may submit an unlimited number of entries. Photos may be submitted September 28, 2009 through April 15, 2010. Selected photos will be announced no later than April 24, 2010.
