About the Cedar River Recreational Project
The Cedar River Recreational Project is a $6.7 million endeavor that will provide a multi-use park to bring life back to the Cedar River. The project consists of recreational improvements, including multiple kayak play areas, fishing jetties, habitat spawning pools, and water access points, along with riverbank improvements and trail additions. The project is not only a recreational endeavor, but will directly improve the local economy, retaining residential numbers while also drawing new families, businesses, and visitors to the Cedar Valley.
