Citizens are invited to connect with the City of Cedar Falls during two upcoming community coffee events.
Cedar Falls will be hosting a Coffee with the City on Wednesday, April 19, as well as a Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, April 26. Both will be held at the First Street McDonald’s in Cedar Falls from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and guests can enjoy a free cup of coffee courtesy of Soifer Family McDonald's.
During Coffee with the City, join City Administrator Ron Gaines and Communications Specialist Amanda Huisman to discuss local news including the 2024 City budget, Cedar Falls events, and upcoming projects. Citizens can also stop by during Coffee with a Cop to meet members of Cedar Falls Public Safety including Police Chief Mark Howard.
"Cedar Falls is home to a wonderful community full of engaged citizens and we always look forward to providing opportunities to connect," said Huisman. "This is a great chance for the public to stop by and casually chat about local news, events, and ask any questions they may have about the city."
