The City of Cedar Falls will be holding a follow-up neighborhood meeting on December 20, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to share information with citizens regarding the replacement of the sanitary sewer line that previously failed and serves all of Minnetonka Drive west of Oak Park Boulevard. It flows through an above-ground temporary crossing at the ravine to Oak Park Boulevard. The meeting will take place at Cedar Falls City Hall (220 Clay Street) in the Council Chambers Foyer.
Updated information will be provided on design and construction-related items such as a new pump station and boring of the new pressurized sanitary sewer line.
All members of the public are invited to attend this meeting. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a brief presentation reviewing design requirements, scope, and expectations of the project. During this time, City officials will be available to answer any questions.
If you have any questions prior to the meeting, or after, please contact the Cedar Falls Engineering Division at (319) 268-5161.
