Center Street Corridor Streetscape Project: The electric change order for outlets in the lamp posts and circuit breaker at Neighbors Park is near completion. Rocks have been successfully removed from the topsoil along the shoulder of the road. Hydroseeding has been laid in the shoulder area south of Clair Street. The concrete paver pads have all been poured except for the NE corner of Douglas intersection where subdrain change order is in progress. The top layers of soil have been laid for most of the bioswales. The plan is the change to the west side of Center Street by October 1.
Cedar Heights Drive Reconstruction: For the week of September 12, the City's contractor has completed paving all three paves for the stretch of pavement from Huntington going North. The contractor is now continuing removals of the existing pavement from the daycare going North and Bowers Masonry is going to be preparing to pour the new trail along the road. Once the trail is in, crews will start to work on tieing in existing driveways to the new roadway.

West Viking Industrial Park, Phase V (Located on Venture Way and Technology Parkway): For the week of September 12, the City's contractor, PCI, will continue with mass grading operations and stabilization by seeding completed areas. Storm sewer tile is getting installed and additional site work is taking place on the north end of the site. Paving operations on the southern half of the project are anticipated to start the following week.

Union Road Recreational Trail: The contractor is going to move in and prepare the topsoil to come in and permanently seed the project site.

Greenhill Road and South Main Street Intersection (Closure: Southbound traffic of Main Street on the south side of the intersection): The contractor has completed the water main installation on the southern half of the intersection. The contractor will continue with the storm sewer installation. This step will continue over the following weeks.

West 27th Street Reconstruction: For the week of September 12, the City's contractor, PCI, will continue with preparations for the sidewalk along the south side and the trail along the north side. Other crews will be working on grading, installation of street lights, and setting the intake tops. A reminder that all University of Northern Iowa (UNI) parking lots will remain open with alternative access points during construction. It is anticipated that Panther Parkway will have access off Hudson Road in time for the first UNI football game.
Lake Street Trail: The contractor has started to pour the trail and should finish by the middle of the week. Once the trail is complete crews will work on grading as they start to work on replacing driveways throughout the extent of the project.
2022 Alley Reconstruction Project
The contractor will be completing the seeding on the 11th/12th/Bluff/State alley next. For the 13th/14th/Tremont/Franklin alley, the contractor is going to be making driveway connections and will be working on grading yards and preparing for seeding. The 22nd/Seerley/Franklin/Clay alley is reading for paving and the contractor plans on starting in the upcoming week. Crews are placing subdrain to start the reconstruction of the Seerley/26th/Walnut/Iowa alley.

2022 Street Construction Project
West 18th Street Phase 1 (Located from Campus Street to Drury Lane): The contractor is ready for the water main on West 18th Street. The concrete pavement is expected to begin the week of the September 12.
Olive Street (4th to 6th Street): Olive Street concrete work will be followed by backfill, driveways, and other misc items.

2022 Sidewalk Repair and Infill Project
West 7th and Francis Street: Waiting for the contractor to move back in to continue the ADA ramps and common panel replacements. The contractor has placed utility locates in various locations before removals.
