Center Street Corridor Streetscape Project: For the week of July 11, the City's contractor, Owen Contracting, Inc., will continue with pavement removals and gravel shoulder removal on the east side of Center Street between Lone Tree Road and Snag Creek Bridge. Center Street is currently in a one-way pattern for northbound traffic between Lone Tree Road and Clair Street.
Cedar Heights Drive Reconstruction (Located at Cedar Heights and Greenhill Road): For the week of July 11, the City's contractor, PCI, will continue with paving operations adjacent to Prairie Street on Cedar Heights Drive as crews work to tie into the new Huntington roundabout. Another crew will be working on boring watermain services under Cedar Heights Drive. Depending on the weather, additional trail paving could start this week.

West Viking Industrial Park, Phase V (Located on Venture Way and Technology Parkway): For the week of July 11, the City's contractor, PCI, will continue with mass grading operations as weather conditions allow. Crews will continue to work on watermain placement and will also start to install storm sewer. As dryer conditions continue into summer, the contractor will be working to place dust control elements throughout the project.

Cyber Lane: Cedar Falls Utilities has finished installing the gas line. Hydrants have been adjusted. A change order will be necessary to remove a tree and part of a berm that is infringing on the sight triangle at the southeast corner of Cyber Lane and Technology Parkway. Signage still needs to be installed.
Union Road Recreational Trail (located at Beaver Road intersection onto Union Road): The contractors are working on wrapping up the punch list items.

Greenhill Road and South Main Street Intersection (Closure: Southbound traffic of Main Street on the north side of the intersection): Installation of water main and storm sewer will continue on the northeast corner over the following two weeks. Portions of the southwest corner fence have been removed and some grading operations have begun in the same area.

Downtown Streetscape and Reconstruction Project Phase II: East 3rd Street (from Main to State) is nearing completion with the planned pavement placement. The sidewalk removal and adjacent amenity pads will take place over the following week, with brick placement likely beginning the week of July 18.

West 27th Street Reconstruction: For the week of July 11, the City's contractor, PCI, will continue with the placement of storm sewer near Panther Parkway. Crews will also be working on widening the roadway limits and trail segments. All University of Northern Iowa parking lots will remain open with alternative access points during construction.
2022 Alley Reconstruction Project
Alley located between West 1st Street and West 2nd Street and Ellen Street and Francis Street: The contractor has poured all of the West 1st and West 2nd alley and plans on forming and pouring driveway connections next. Crews have finished removals of the West 9th and West 10th Alley, between Olive and Walnut Streets, and have it rocked and ready for crews to move in next week to start forming. A closure notice has been issued for the 11th to 12th alley between State and Bluff Street to start removals next week.

2022 Street Construction Project
West 18th Street Phase 1 (Located from Campus Street to Drury Lane/Hudson Road will have single-lane closures from 1st to 12th Street): The contractor is ready for paving West 18th Street next week and will continue with the intersection pours and intakes the following week.
Olive Street storm sewer is getting installed over the following two weeks.
Asphalt milling on Hudson Road is planned to take place in the coming week, followed by the actual placement of the asphalt overlay over the following two weeks.
