Downtown Streetscape and Reconstruction Project- The contractor will complete the mainline paving of West 4th Street on July 6 and will continue working on the hand pours and sidewalk work over the following few weeks. Work along the west side of the 400 block portion of the parkade will continue by placing the concrete amenity pads.

West 1st Street/HWY 57 Expansion- For the week of July 5, paving for sidewalks and business driveways will continue with sodding behind the back of curb. Head-to-Head traffic pattern on W. 1st Street/HWY 57 will remain on the northern lanes. The current construction will continue to result in restricted turning movements at the Hudson Road intersection. Trailered vehicles should choose alternative routes to avoid turning at the intersection. Tentatively starting the Week of July 12, a traffic pattern change will shift W.1st Street/ HWY 57 head-to-head traffic on the newly constructed southern lanes as crews start on the north half.

2021 Street Construction Project

Brandilynn Boulevard (West cul-de-sac east through the Andrea Drive intersection)- Stage 1 of Brandilynn Boulevard is now completed. Stage 2 will begin this week and include the removal and replacement of the concrete surface. This stage will resume on the eastern limits of stage 1 and continue approximately 150'.
Washington Street- Washington Street will continue the underground work over the week and then begin preparations for the new concrete surface.
Union Road Recreation Trail
During the week of June 28, the contractor (Lodge Construction Inc.) has sent the surveyor out to the site to start marking Row. The contractor is also getting the job board installed on the corner of Union Road and 27th Street.
