Downtown Streetscape and Reconstruction Project- The contractor will finish underground work along W 4th Street and begin preparing the roadway surface for pavement. Work along the west side of the 300 block portion of the parkade will be completed this week. The brick-laying contractor will then prepare to start the west side of the 400 block beginning the week of the 21st.

West 1st Street/HWY 57 Expansion- For the week of June 14th, paving operation on W. 1st Street/HWY 57 east of Hudson Road will continue on side streets. North- and southbound traffic on Hudson will continue to be on the West side of the intersection. Head-to-Head traffic pattern on W. 1st Street/HWY 57 will remain on the northern lanes. This construction will result in restricted turning movements at the Hudson Road intersection. Trailered vehicles should choose alternative routes to avoid turning at the intersection.

2021 Street Construction Project

McClain Drive- Stage 1 of McClain Drive will have the concrete hand crews finish the intersection this week and begin on the sidewalks and driveway approaches next week.
Brandilynn Boulevard (West cul-de-sac east through the Andrea Drive intersection)- Stage 1 of Brandilynn Boulevard will have the remaining concrete hand pours completed this week, followed by the remaining driveway approaches next week.
Olive Street- Olive Street will have the mainline pavement poured this week, followed by sidewalk and driveways next week.
Washington Street- Washington Street has begun with removals and will begin the installation of the new watermain this week.
Restoration prep work for the new asphalt overlays has been completed on Garden, Iowa, Lilac, Calumett, and 17th Street. This week, the asphalt contractor will begin placing the base course of the overlay, followed by the surface course later in the week or the following week.
