Beginning April 21, 2021, the contractor will begin Stage 1 reconstruction of Brandilynn Boulevard by closing the street from its western cul-de-sac to the east past the Andrea Drive intersection. In order for the contractor to begin pavement removal, a full road closure will be required. The road closure will be in effect for up to eight (8) weeks, depending on the weather.
For safety's sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. It would be advisable to stay behind the sidewalk on the property side during the reconstruction work.
During the closure, business access will still be maintained. Refer to the map below for the planned business access. The two primarily impacted accesses will be for Blain’s and McDonalds. However, signage will be included to direct that business traffic through Wal-Mart Drive to the east.
