Due to the upcoming holiday, the below Cedar Falls City facilities will be closed on the following dates:
City Hall: Closed April 2.
Hearst Center for the Arts: Closed April 2 – 5. Messy Morning Kits, usually available on the first Friday of the month, will be available April 1.
Cedar Falls Recreation and Fitness Center: Closed April 4.
Cedar Falls Visitor Center: Closed April 2 – 4.
Refuse Schedule
The Recycling Center and Transfer Station will be closed on April 2. Residents whose garbage collection day is Friday should place their refuse at their collection point by 7:00 A.M. on April 1. Thursday refuse collection will remain the same. There will be no large item collection on April 1. Large item collection will resume on April 5.
The Transfer Station and Recycling Center will be open on April 3.
