[ARCHIVED] Press Release - 06/13/2008, 6:30 p.m.

Water levels are rising in communities north of Cedar Falls. The National Weather Service reports that this will not significantly affect the Cedar River level in Cedar Falls; however, residents should be prepared that water levels may change throughout the weekend.

If the level of the Cedar River is projected to rise significantly, the public will be notified immediately. City officials are monitoring the river level continuously.
