Have you participated in the Cedar Falls Resilience Plan online workshops? There is still plenty of opportunities to get involved and share your ideas on how we can improve the future quality of life in our community! 

Upcoming Open-Door Workshops

This week, you can participate in three online open-door workshops that will feature members of the Resilience Plan consultant group. Each workshop starts at noon on their respective date and lasts approximately 90 minutes:

  • Community Cohesion and Civic Services: October 27 
    • This workshop covers Social Connectivity and Participation, Schools, Library, Parks, Recreation, Trails, UNI, and more

  • Equity, Diversity and Well-being: October 28
    • This workshop covers Fair Opportunity and Access for all to Jobs, Services, Amenities, Resources and Housing; Cultural, Racial and Economic Diversity; Individual, Family and Community Fitness and Wholeness

  • Jobs, Business and Economy: October 29
    • This workshop covers Quality Wage Jobs, Local Jobs, Green Jobs and Business. It also includes Resilient and Sustainable Development / Economic Development

Self-Guided Workshops

If you missed any of last week's open-door workshops, you can still share your feedback by participating in the self-guided workshops. Online Survey

Don't forget to also take the online Resilience Plan survey at https://cfresilience.com/survey! The survey consists of two parts: Built Environment and Ecology and Community and Local Economics. It takes about 10 minutes to complete.
