On April 27, 2020, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds issued a new proclamation regarding COVID-19.
The proclamation extended the closure of businesses in Black Hawk County including bars, restaurants, fitness centers, salons, and nonessential retail to the public until May 15. Additionally, it issued guidelines for conducting Farmers Markets, which included rules for social distancing, that are effective until May 15, 2020.
The proclamation also lifted restrictions on spiritual and religious gatherings effective May 1 through May 15, 2020. These gatherings will no longer be prohibited during that time.
