[ARCHIVED] Updated Location for Cedar Falls Special Election

UPDATED March 20, 2020: Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate has rescheduled the Cedar Falls council-at-large vacancy election to July 7. Absentee ballots already voted and those currently being requested and sent to voters will all be valid and will be counted on July 7.

The Black Hawk County Auditor has announced that Election Day voting for the Cedar Falls council vacancy special election will be held at Peet Junior High School, 525 E. Seerley Blvd.  There will be no voting at St. John Lutheran Church, as previously reported.

Election Day is March 31 and polls will be open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm.  No other polling locations will be used on Election Day.  All voters are strongly encouraged to vote by mail if possible.  Absentee ballot request forms were mailed on March 19, 2020, to all active registered voters.

The letter accompanying the mailing to voters identifies the Election Day vote center as St. John.  Please be aware that this has changed to Peet Junior High School.
