- Conduct intentional listening sessions
- Promote HRC and our work through communication
- Educate commission members on topics relevant to its mission
- Orient new members to the commission
Goals
- Create listening sessions with community organizations
- Increase awareness of the HRC through communication
- Use technology to help with communication
- Help welcome and train new Commission members
Tasks
- Meet with City Council members/candidates
- Conduct table talks (members sharing their expertise and experience)
- Create training events for commission members
