Erosion Control Practices

If you are new to the world of erosion and sediment control, please consider taking one of the ISWEP classes that qualify you to work in this field. ISWEP put together some summary videos on the requirements and you can watch them in the SWPPP Compliance Videos Tab. Other good videos to watch were put together by the Minnesota Erosion Control Agency, and you can find them in their YouTube page. The City requires any project to follow SUDAS design and specifications guidelines. Design Guidelines: every SWPPP submitted to the city shall comply with Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) standard design criteria. You can access SUDAS here: www.iowasudas.org.
