What We Do
The Code Enforcement Unit is responsible for the enforcement of a variety of City Ordinances not generally associated with Police work.
Code Enforcement focuses but is not limited to:
- Nuisance ordinances
- Zoning issues
- Property maintenance
- Storage of materials outside
- Junk vehicles
- Unregistered vehicles
- Rental over occupancy
- Illegal signs
- Front and side yard parking
Fling Complaints and Concerns
Violations are located by personal observation by unit members and from public referrals. Complaints and concerns may be filed anonymously by contacting Officer Mike Leary at the Cedar Falls Police Department. |
