Cedar Falls Fire Rescue Part-time Firefighter Program
Providing strong public safety is a key responsibility for every growing community. In order for Cedar Falls to address the firefighting needs of our growing city, we must find ways to increase fire coverage, improve response time, and supplement our professional firefighters with trained workforce capable of responding when the need arises.

A professional part-time firefighting workforce supplements the core career staff, and provides an affordable solution to meeting the firefighting demands that occur in Cedar Falls. Therefore, the Cedar Fall Fire Department has developed the Cedar Falls Fire Rescue Part-time Firefighter Program.
