About the Park
Acquired in 1975, this Park is now a passive area with no access by vehicle. It contains the "Gateway to the Trails" sculpture, landscaping and a river walk. Designated as Peter Melendy Park in 1976 by the Cedar Falls' Daughters of the American Revolution in recognition of Peter Melendy as a historical figure in the establishment of the Cedar Falls community. |
