About the Park
Acquired in 1988 and named by Sixth Grade Class at North Cedar School. Bess Streeter Aldrich was born in Cedar Falls in 1881. She authored many novels on pioneer life. "Song of Years" tells the early history of Sturgis Falls (now Cedar Falls).
