    Voters in the ten-county region serviced by Hawkeye Community College are asked whether to approve a $25 million bond issue to address the following community needs: additional workforce development programs and services for adult students; expanded capacity in high-demand fields such as healthcare/advanced manufacturing; and additional career academies in high schools and the College’s outreach centers.

  1. University Avenue Reconstruction Project Public Information Open House

    February 23, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ City Hall Council Chambers

    The City of Cedar Falls will hold a public information open house concerning the proposed corridor improvements planned for University Avenue between Highway 58 and Midway Drive. The open house will feature information and exhibits that illustrate the recommended improvements that include intersection treatments and pedestrian facilities. Residents are invited to learn more about the proposed changes and provide feedback.
