The City of Cedar Falls has awarded the Dry Run Creek Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project to S.M. Hentges & Sons of Jordan, Minnesota. This contractor will reconstruct the sanitary sewer from Seerley Blvd. to Orchard Drive.
Starting as early as Tuesday, December 26, 2017 construction along the corridor will begin by closing the adjacent trail. The contractor will begin clearing the necessary trees within the construction limits. During the month of January 2018, the contractor expects to be working 24 hours a day for approximately three to four weeks.
It would be advisable to stay away from the construction area as heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed trail. The map of the construction area below shows in yellow where the contractor will be working for the next eight to nine months.
